Barbie Joins Foursquare (Now you can make movies with her)

Barbie, the beloved doll of girls (and boys) everywhere, has taken a new career as a video maker and starlet — and joined Foursquare to celebrate her new Video Girl ambition. YouTube launches global film-making project

YouTube has launched a global film-making project encouraging people to shoot their own short documentaries. These will be combined into a feature-length film for next year’s Sundance Film Festival. Golf body adds live video to british open iphone app

Golf’s governing body the R&A has enhanced its latest iPhone app to include live video streaming of this year’s British Open tournament. The R&A also plans to launch its first iPad app, called The Rules of Golf, which will be free to download and sponsored by Rolex, after witnessing strong demand for its iPhone app for last year’s British Open. Apple won’t recall iPhone4

Earlier today Apple announced they would hold a press conference (type) event in response to the hugely escalating antenna issues the iPhone 4G is having.
