Top 5 Xbox games coming soon

No Comments Gaming, News, Videos

Yes, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a game addict and in particular I’m an Xbox 360 man through and through. Not to say the PS3 isn’t impressive I just prefer the 360 games. In fact I literally cannot wait to get my hands on the new xbox 360, but that’s for another blog post!

In the meantime I want to talk about some of the hottest games coming to the market in the next few months (on xbox and PS3 for some) that will be worth saving up the pennies for. It’s pretty difficult to fully review a game that I haven’t played nor seen in person but looking at the videos below I think we can all expect big things to come!!

The reason for this post is because I have just completed the ever impressive Red Dead Redemption and am now looking for my next fix.I’ve also recently got back into Call of Duty MW2 and in need of some more first person online play.

1) So to start off with let me introduce Call of Duty: Black Op’s.

Set during the Cold War, CoD: Black Ops follows several covert operations groups, the secret units set up by the CIA to engage in deniable actions all over the world. Steeped in conspiracy theory and no doubt paying close heed to declassified government files, the game takes in the agency’s anticommunist activities in Eastern Europe, in Vietnam and in Cuba.

2) Next up: Fallout: New Vegas Fallout:

New Vegas takes place during the year 2280, three years after Fallout 3 and 203 years after the Great War of 2077, making this installment the chronologically latest in the series thus far. The game is set in post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, Nevada and the Mojave Desert. Unlike other cities in the Fallout series, Vegas was not struck directly by a nuclear attack.

Its buildings remain intact, and mutation of its inhabitants is minimal. However that doesn’t mean life is going to be easy as the character defines his place throughout the game. The starts as an unconscious courier wandering on a mission to deliver an unknown package…who knows what will happen!

3) Assassins Creed: Brotherhood

Live and breathe as Ezio, a legendary Master Assassin, in his enduring struggle against the powerful Templar Order. He must journey into Italy’s greatest city, Rome, center of power, greed and corruption to strike at the heart of the enemy.

Defeating the corrupt tyrants entrenched there will require not only strength, but leadership, as Ezio commands an entire Brotherhood who will rally to his side. Only by working together can the Assassins defeat their mortal enemies.

And for the first time, introducing a never-before-seen multiplayer layer that allows you to choose from a wide range of unique characters, each with their own signature weapons and assassination techniques, and match your skills against other players from around the world.

4) Medal of Honour

Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. Ooohhh sooo illusive and yet the video just looks epic with great graphics and character involvement with all the live scenery around getting blown to bits. Can’t wait for this game!!

5) Halo Reach And finally saved the best until last.

We have all been awaiting this game for a very long time now. In fact it’s the Halo series that got me into xbox in the first instance and after a somewhat lacking ODST I believe I am right in saying we are all anticipating this to be a big hit!!

Halo Reach is a prequel to the legendary Halo trilogy in which enables players to experience the fateful moments that forged the Halo legend. This is the story of Noble Team, a squad of heroic Spartan soldiers, and their final stand on planet Reach, humanity’s last line of defense between the terrifying Covenant and Earth.

This darker story is echoed by grittier visuals amid a backdrop of massive, awe-inspiring environments. Characters, enemies, and environments are rendered in amazing detail by an all-new engine designed to deliver epic-scale encounters against the cunning and ruthless Covenant. Once the campaign is over, the battle continues online with an unparalleled multiplayer experience expanding on the award-winning suite of features that helped define the Xbox LIVE experience.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for further updates and reviews as these games become avaialble!
